Chesapeake City has several wineries outside of its limits that you can tour! Wine tastings are available at many of them, including the Broken Spoke Winery, Chateau Bu-De Winery, and Crow Vineyard.

Broken Spoke Vineyard & Winery is located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore of Maryland, one of the state’s largest wine regions. The winery is also a part of the Rivers to Canal Wine Corridor on the upper shore. The winery is a member of the Chesapeake Wine Trail.

Bohemia Manor Farm is not just a winery; it is a picturesque venue overlooking the Bohemia River, offering a blend of historic charm and modern luxury. Savor fresh food flavors and their vineyard’s finest wines in their tasting room, where every sip and bite tells a story of heritage and craftsmanship.

Elk Neck State Park is located in Cecil County on a peninsula, formed by the Chesapeake Bay on the west and the Elk River on the east. The park has 2,370 acres of land and includes 250 campsites, four youth group sites and 15 cabins. Varied landscapes include marshlands, heavily wooded areas, white clay cliffs and sandy shorelines.

Visitors are welcome to use the park for low-impact, passive recreation, such as hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, fishing and hunting. It currently features approximately 5 miles of natural-surface, multi-use trails that offer the visitor a wealth of opportunities for recreation and nature exploration. The trails traverse a variety of habitats such as hardwood bottomland forests, meadows, seeps and tidal marshes and offer numerous views of the Bohemia River.
